Message The TT already has a booster, why would it need to step the flywheel to decrease pedal pressure even more?

I'm thinking it's to increase the clamping force of the pressure plate since it puts the friction surface of the clutch closer to the flywheel.

But why don't any aftermaket ones come with it? Maybe they figure an upgraded clutch already has enough clamping force?
